Check out the tech trends to watch for in 2023

Digital transformation is playing a key role in the development of companies which, in turn, need to maintain a continuous adaptation to enjoy the benefits of the new reality. That said, the business world has been required to update itself to stay on top of the possible solutions, aiming at a better management and the improvement of its strategies.

With that in mind, we created this article to show you the main tech trends for 2023, pointing out how organizations can benefit from them to stand out in the market. Keep reading and check them out!

Metaverse

It is estimated that, by 2026, more than a quarter of the planet’s companies will be in the metaverse. This concept comprises a kind of virtual world that tries to recreate reality through digital devices. In other words, it is a collective and online space, formed by the integration of virtual reality, augmented reality, and the Internet.

Organizations will use this trend to improve engagement, collaboration, and connection between their employees, promoting meetings in virtual spaces, for example.

As everyone knows, that practice already exists, but it will be improved with the use of other resources, such as special glasses capable of “transporting” people directly to a conference room, making the experience more immersive.

Cloud Computing

Cloud computing is characterized by the delivery of Information Technology resources on demand through the Internet. Whoever hires it pays it according to its use, representing, in practice, a significant cost reduction, since it eliminates the need to have and maintain data centers and physical servers.

Large organizations are already investing in that resource as an essential strategy focused on their growth. The increase in the use of cloud computing is even more visible in Latin American countries, where there is a growing offer of it in different sectors, both public and private.

It is predicted that, by 2023, at least 40% of the enterprise workload will be deployed on cloud infrastructure and platform services.

Wireless Solutions

No technology is capable of significantly dominating another one. However, the trend for the coming years is: corporations will implement a set of wireless solutions for different environments that make up their structure.

In practice, wireless networks will be set in offices, services for mobile devices, and radio connectivity. By 2025, approximately 60% of organizations will use five or more wireless solutions simultaneously.

No-Code

No-code is characterized as an agile methodology which enables people with no programming knowledge to develop products and services — applications, games, among others. A few codes or mere clicks are needed, thanks to graphical interface tools and simple configurations.

The positive impact of no-code in the business world can be seen because, with it, it is no longer necessary to write several lines of code. Thus, traditional ERPs — information systems that interconnect all data and processes of an organization —, which required a lot of time and money from companies to be made, have an extremely facilitated way to go currently.

Digital transformation provides organizations with numerous facilities in work processes and improvement of their strategies. In a highly competitive market, keeping an eye on technological trends is crucial for the continuous updating of the business and the harness of its potential, aiming at good results in the short, medium, and long term.
